After recently hitting my four year mark at Google, and becoming "fully vested", I decided to take some time off work to re-charge and play around with some technologies I don't get to use in my daily work. Instead of staying at home for this time, we decided to get a little adventurous and visit a different city for a while. A longer trip to Europe presents too many challenges, so looking stateside, there was one obvious choice: New York. It'll be easy and beneficial for Jonalyn to work while we're here, and there will be no shortage of things for Devin & I to do.

You can already see the results of my first personal project. I've combined my Google phone, camera, and website to "geotag" our pictures. As we add more from our travels, you'll be able to look at a map showing where all our pictures were taken, starting with the local playground.
