Devin turned four today. He started his birthday with a present from his brother (a train, of course), followed by his favorite breakfast of cinnamon rolls ("cakes!"), and bacon. He helped frost the rolls and brought a bunch to school for his friends, even carrying it himself. As we dropped him off, he still insisted he was three (which was sort of correct, since he wasn't born until noon), but by the time we picked him up, he was telling everybody he was four! We had a family dinner at home with Uncle Keith & Aunt Michelle, followed with his first blowing out a candle (with some help). This capped off a big birthday week that included a trip back east to see family, and two viewings of "the biggest movie ever" (in his words) - Cars 2. All in all, a great week, and a great beginning of this fifth year in our adventures together.
