We're in Boston for Christmas, and have had a very exciting time so far. Things started with the airline losing Devin's bag, which just arrived today, 5 days late. On Thusrday Jonalyn & I left Devin with his grandparents to spend a whirlwind day in New York City (apologies to those we didn't call, but we were over-booked). The next day we high-tailed it back to Boston on an early-morning flight to beat the incoming storm which ended up shutting down New England. Since then we've been out to one party, but otherwise holed up inside watching the snow pile up outside.

Today we finally got the urge to go outside, quite an ordeal to be sure. First, we need to wait for a time when none of the boys are napping, then we need to convince them that they're ready to go out, bundle everybody up, then go kick around in the snow. Devin was the first one out, and loved finally getting outside, then was even happier when he discovered he could eat snow. We had a great time trekking around, throwing snowballs, and sledding down the hill, until we started getting cold about 20 minutes in, when we came back in for naps and warm showers. Now if only the snow would let up enough for the roads to clear up so we can go visit more people!
